While studying theater in New York Betty (Beata Pozniak) becomes fascinated with the rich tradition of the history of Polish theater. Her passion carries her to Poland where she accepts an offer to teach English at a local school. The students are immediately inspired by their edgy, energetic and unconventional new teacher.  Betty’s hip attitude and athletic prowess has a particularly big impact on the boys and one of them falls madly in love with her only to discover that his own father has romantic designs on Betty.
